Going the distance.

Each week I find my body and my mind getting stronger, that I’m able to push myself that bit further each run that I do. I’ve even found that I’ve pushed myself to a point and beyond that I wouldn’t of thought that I’d ever see myself at, and I’m enjoying every single moment of it. 

This week I’ve managed to complete two 5k training runs this week, after being ill last weekend. Then today, I managed to complete my longest run to date, 6.26 miles. I completed this in 1 hour, 30 minutes and 10 seconds. I’m extremely proud of this, as at ti me I felt like I could of thrown up but I carried on and I was completely overwhelmed with my determination to finish what I had started! 

Its safe to say, that I am slowly getting stronger, and I can’t believe how far I’ve come since the beginning of the year. I’m so excited for October, my first ever half marathon.
